I am a stay at home mom of three, Madeline, Alyssa and Nathaniel. Growing up and through college I was always able to draw or paint, and took art classes for fun and enjoyment. I was always, and still am, a doodler. I began a career in Veterinary Medicine and although I remained creative, my inner "artiste" took a back seat.

Before we had children, I loved to pick out unique personalized gifts for friends and family, they were always a favorite. When my husband, Mike and I had our girls, we received many of these same gifts. Some were good, others, not so good. One day I ordered some items online and when they arrived I said , " I can do better than that!" Mike said, "So, do it. Start your own business." And, so I started doing party favors for kids birthdays and gifts for friends, as well as local fairs. I am having so much fun drawing and painting again, and my three little monkeys, Maddie, Ally and Nate inspired me to start Funky Monkey Designs.
